
Thanksgiving is Over
I am thankful for having such a wonderful Thanksgiving feast that I cooked (not kidding!). However, after leftovers on Friday night my husband and I had some leftovers last night as well that I fixed as turkey salad sandwiches for lack of anything better — or time. Guess what, there are still leftovers!
Had it, no more, cannot stand it anymore. Still getting Tweeted and Facebooked about leftover recipes and I have to say now guys, give it a rest, give whatever leftover turkey you still have to a homeless shelter so it can be enjoyed — enough already.
Now that I have expressed my over emotional feelings on this subject, it is time for a nice prime rib, steak, or pasta if you ask me with some nice Cabernet, Bordeaux, or Meritage.
By the way we have leftover bottles of wine and champagne (LeReve from Domaine Carneros, Moet Nectar, BV Pinot, ZD Chardonnay). These are leftovers that I do not mind chewing on until gone!
